Articulate at the Edinburgh Fringe!

We’re really excited about this one – over from Australia for (just over) one week only, it’s the comedy-drama ‘Articulate’.

Two warring households; an annual showdown over our favourite board game; and an explosion of tensions, comic outbursts, excruciatingly awkward moments… just like any normal game of Articulate, really.

The show played to sell-out audiences this year at the Perth Fringe in Western Australia, and we’ve been chortling away at script excerpts over here in the UK Articulate office.

No spoilers from us, but it’s fair to say that the writers have beautifully captured the essence of the game and what it brings out in people – and built a great play around it of the classic ‘friends discover a bit more about each other than they’d quite anticipated’ genre.

If you play the game, it’s safe to say that you’ll nod knowingly – and perhaps despairingly - at some of the scenes. Especially if you're regularly forced to pair with team-mates who don't quite share your own genius for describing and guessing.
